Dr Francis attended Hampton University in Hampton Virginia where she obtained a bachelor degree in biology. Before attending medical school, she worked in education for three years as a mathematical high school teacher. Dr Francis attended medical school at New York College of Osteopathic Medicine of NY Institute of Technology. She completed her internal medicine residency at Winthrop University Hospital in Mineola, NY and an infectious disease fellowship at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York, New York.
Dr Francis is particularly interested in the treatment and study of HIV, HCV, and tuberculosis . She is boarded certified in both Internal medicine and Infectious disease. Dr Francis is a member of Infectious Disease society of America.
Dr Francis is married with one adorable son. In her spare time, she enjoys shopping and traveling to new and exciting places.
